“We had a Proposal photoshoot in Miami I was keen to do something special and document the moment to look back on for years to come. We have been together for 3.5 years, coming up to 4 years in November. We were mutual family friends, who were officially introduced to each other at a music concert in London.
I connected with Natasha on Local Lens. We talked through all of the background information and I outlined my vision for the moment. Natasha kindly suggested a great location (the beach & park near Miami South Point Pier) and we talked through more of the specifics around timing and set-up etc. All of which Natasha super accommodating and thoughtful - and even helped me think of ways I could hide the surprise (by pretending it was a picnic).

Sid and I are in medical residency, with impossibly busy schedules. We flew down for an engagement shoot that due to circumstances out of our control did not happen. My sister remembered Natasha is a photographer in Miami, a dear friend from high school. We reached out to her with no expectations given we had a small window and it was a Sunday. Not only did she immediately respond and jump to action, while she was on her only day off, she showed up for us and truly delivered. "The photoshoot went amazing! Natasha communicated well and responded quickly. She helped me decide the ideal location for what I wanted. We had the time and location planned out beforehand. My fiancé and I arrived at the beach early for the sunrise and were able to walk around a bit. Then once we were near the designated shoot time I started to walk us towards the designated spot (Natasha had also texted me to let me know she was there!). Once I spotted her and we were in front of her, I proposed! Natasha got great shots of the proposal and then we were able to do the rest of the shoot together. Natasha made us feel very comfortable and gave us just the right amount of guidance (we had never done a photoshoot before!). She took us to a few different locations on the beach (water, rocks, tall grass areas for more photos. We loved how the photos turned out and we had a great experience overall!
